French Riviera and Monaco Grand Prix

Last week we went to the French Riviera and Monaco Grand Prix.

On our way there we went to Grasse which is where they make lots of Perfume. After we finally found a car park, we went to a perfume shop and museum called Fragonard. In the museum they showed the machine that they use to make the perfume and mum bought some perfume which smelt really nice. The museum had buttons that you pressed that would blow out a smell. Some of them were stinky and some smelt like roses. There were all sorts of strange smells including one that was called whiskey and one that was called tobacco which I didn't like the smell of.

We arrived at the caravan park which had a great pool but it started raining so we couldn't go in it. We took a photo with a James Bond statue. Unfortunately Emma and me started fighting and when Daddy came to stop us I accidentally hit Daddy in the nuts with a baguette. Daddy laid on the ground for a while after that.

The next day we caught a train to the Monaco Grand Prix. We found our stand called T1. We sat down in T1 and watched the F1 cars driving past and going in and out of the pits. The cars are very fancy and very fast and very very very very noisy! We had to have our ear plugs in before we could watch them race. In Monaco there were lots of Ferrari and Lamborghini cars.

On our way back we went to Nice and had dinner in the square and ice cream that had over 100 flavours to choose from. We went to the beach and built a rock castle from the pebbles as there was no sand. I took my shoes off and went to the water's edge and waited for the waves to get us. I got very wet!

On our way home we went to Antibes and drove around the town on top of the town walls.
I rate it just an 8 out of 10 because I hit my Daddy in the nuts and the cars were very noisy.

2 days with Zoe in Sarlat

We were in the car and our GPS called Viollette said to us ''there is some parking near your destination. She was right. We went to the parking near our destination. We saw Tristen and Zoe on the front part of there house. We went inside and my friend Zoe showed her house to me. After a while we went to there main part of town. she asked me do I like animals. I said why ask? She said because we are going to see them in the...TOWN

We walked to the town and we saw lots of hens, we kept on walking and we saw some other animals like cows, donkeys (my favourite), sheep, goats and horses. Zoe said to me feel how smooth the horse was so I patted it. We went to the cows and we had a look at them. After that we went to the donkeys. I love the donkeys. I patted the donkey and said to it "you're so cute". Then we saw POO. It was big and really smelly. This made us decide that we had had enough of seeing the animals and went to explore the rest of the town.

The town itself was really nice and full of people. All of the buildings were made stone and on peoples houses there were lots of balconies with flowers on the. We found an old church that had been changed into a market which had a glass open lift which took us to the top of the old spire and you could see the whole town from there. I liked it because there was no roof and they gave you an information sheet to spot the famous buildings around the town.

The next day there was the famous Sarlat market on. In the market I got some wool in my hair. Down the bottem there is a photo of me getting it done. The colours i chose were aqua, purple, pink and blue. There was lots of local food like sausages, cheese and even spring rolls. We got to try a few different things. My favourite was the spring rolls.

I really liked visiting Zoe and we had great fun together.

My Pink Weekend in Italy

Mum and Dad love bike racing so they made me drive to Italy last weekend to watch the Giro d'Italia.

We were going to a stage in the mountains so we stayed in a ski village. The hotel had a really nice bar downstairs where daddy went a couple of times and they had free pizza which was really yummy. I had Hawaiian pizza.

The first day we went to the race we parked in a not so good spot. They were selling pink hats, tops, socks, teddy bears, umbrellas, clappers and a kit. But there didn't have socks in the kit. I got a kit. So did Emma and daddy. The tops were massive. Emma's fitted mummy.

Unfortunately it was a bit cold and we saw lots of snow. Mummy kept taking photos of the mountains and the snow.

We saw a couple of stages of the race. Whoever is in the lead of the race wears pink so we could see lots of the shops done in pink and even a pink dog. The pink dog got spray painted. It is a blond doggy. I got to hold it.

Before the start of the one of the stages we saw Cadel Evans and he high-fived us.

I enjoyed my weekend in the Italian Alps, i rate it 9/10. Minus 1 point for having to walk up the hill and wait for the bike riders.

Our House

We are living in a two storey house in Aix en Provence. It has 3 bedrooms so I have my own bedroom which is great as I don't have to share a room with Emma! There are also two bathrooms and two toilets. The living room has three couches and has one tv which has the Disney channel. The kitchen has a table and four chairs and we also have outdoor tables. The best thing about our house is that is has a big pool, a ping pong table and a big garden with grass to play on, a tulip and purple flowers. Every house in our neighbourhood has blue shutters including our house. I think this is to keep out the sun as it gets hot in Provence in the Summer. I like our house. I rate it 10 out of 10.

My first day at school in France

We woke up feeling really nervous because me and Emma were going to school. Our school is in Aix en Provence and our house is in Puyricard. We went in the car and drove to school. When we got there we went to a bunch of teachers and my teacher showed us around to my classroom and Emma's classroom. Then my teacher took me to class.

He gave me a worksheet and I was supposed to do it, but I didn't understand anything that it said to do. So then he gave me two other worksheets and explained to me what to do. I finished them and he gave me a book. The lines are very funny. He made me stick the worksheets in them. Daddy said the lines were a grid. Then I learnt some joint up writing and the writing was Jeudi Mai & Georgia.

When it was play time there was a group of girls who wanted to play with me, so I said yes. Most of the words they were saying I had absolutely no idea. Alter playtime I went back to class and all of the girls wanted to hold my hand.

I did some more class work and then mummy and daddy picked me up for lunch. I told them that I had a really good time at school and they were happy and proud of us because we were brave. I asked my dad what he would have been like if had to go to school like us and he said he would have burst into tears.

Then I went back to school and had a play. I waited for my friends to come out. Then I went back to class and I had to go to the most boringness, annoyingest and stupidest French class ever. I did not learn a word except ca va which meant a different word to what i thought it meant from my other French teachers. She made us to 50 worksheets. I thought I was finished after the second one but I still had 600 more.

So I liked my class and playing outside with my new friends and my teacher in the morning but I didn't like at all the special class I had to do for French (I didn't learn anything)
