We were in the car and our GPS called Viollette said to us ''there is some parking near your destination. She was right. We went to the parking near our destination. We saw Tristen and Zoe on the front part of there house. We went inside and my friend Zoe showed her house to me. After a while we went to there main part of town. she asked me do I like animals. I said why ask? She said because we are going to see them in the...TOWN
We walked to the town and we saw lots of hens, we kept on walking and we saw some other animals like cows, donkeys (my favourite), sheep, goats and horses. Zoe said to me feel how smooth the horse was so I patted it. We went to the cows and we had a look at them. After that we went to the donkeys. I love the donkeys. I patted the donkey and said to it "you're so cute". Then we saw POO. It was big and really smelly. This made us decide that we had had enough of seeing the animals and went to explore the rest of the town.
The town itself was really nice and full of people. All of the buildings were made stone and on peoples houses there were lots of balconies with flowers on the. We found an old church that had been changed into a market which had a glass open lift which took us to the top of the old spire and you could see the whole town from there. I liked it because there was no roof and they gave you an information sheet to spot the famous buildings around the town.
The next day there was the famous Sarlat market on. In the market I got some wool in my hair. Down the bottem there is a photo of me getting it done. The colours i chose were aqua, purple, pink and blue. There was lots of local food like sausages, cheese and even spring rolls. We got to try a few different things. My favourite was the spring rolls.
I really liked visiting Zoe and we had great fun together.
