French Riviera and Monaco Grand Prix

Last week we went to the French Riviera and Monaco Grand Prix.

On our way there we went to Grasse which is where they make lots of Perfume. After we finally found a car park, we went to a perfume shop and museum called Fragonard. In the museum they showed the machine that they use to make the perfume and mum bought some perfume which smelt really nice. The museum had buttons that you pressed that would blow out a smell. Some of them were stinky and some smelt like roses. There were all sorts of strange smells including one that was called whiskey and one that was called tobacco which I didn't like the smell of.

We arrived at the caravan park which had a great pool but it started raining so we couldn't go in it. We took a photo with a James Bond statue. Unfortunately Emma and me started fighting and when Daddy came to stop us I accidentally hit Daddy in the nuts with a baguette. Daddy laid on the ground for a while after that.

The next day we caught a train to the Monaco Grand Prix. We found our stand called T1. We sat down in T1 and watched the F1 cars driving past and going in and out of the pits. The cars are very fancy and very fast and very very very very noisy! We had to have our ear plugs in before we could watch them race. In Monaco there were lots of Ferrari and Lamborghini cars.

On our way back we went to Nice and had dinner in the square and ice cream that had over 100 flavours to choose from. We went to the beach and built a rock castle from the pebbles as there was no sand. I took my shoes off and went to the water's edge and waited for the waves to get us. I got very wet!

On our way home we went to Antibes and drove around the town on top of the town walls.
I rate it just an 8 out of 10 because I hit my Daddy in the nuts and the cars were very noisy.
